In recent years the Freestone County Go Texan organization has gone beyond just awarding scholarships. We are proud to be involved in the community such as donating to other local nonprofits, adding on money to the seniors that participated in our local livestock sale. In 2022, we hosted our first annual BBQ Cook-Off, and it was a major success. A success we would not have had without the support of local businesses and our FREECO family. THANK YOU! And now we are gearing up to host our THIRD annual BBQ Cook-off in April of 2024.
